Thomas McKay lives in Anchorage, Alaska. McKay earned a B.S. in petroleum engineering from Montana Tech in 1980 and an M.S. in environmental engineering from the University of Alaska at Anchorage in 2000. His career experience includes working as a petroleum engineer for companies such as Amoco, ARCO Alaska, ConocoPhillips, and BlueCrest Energy Alaska. McKay served as Chairman of the Alaska Republican Party.
